    CAMBRIDGE CHRONICLE & JOURNAL: REFUSING TO LEAVE A PUBLIC-HOUSE, AND ATTEMPTING TO RESCUE FROM THE POLICE. James Culpin, jun., Godmanchester, and Wm. Sharpe, mason, Huntingdon, were brought in custody, the former charged with being drunk and refusing to quit the Royal Oak, when requested, the morning of Wednesday last; and the latter was charged with attempting to rescue the defendant Culpin from the custody of P.c. Brown. Both defendants denied the charge. The Bench convicted on both charges, and fined Culpin 5s., and 14s. 6d. costs, or 14 days; Sharpe 10s. fine, and costs 14s. 6d., or 21 days. Paid.
