"Horace HILLS","09 Nov 1918","Chatteris, Cambs","By the time of his death HORACE HILLS had been discharged from the 7th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment, invalided out after injury. He served on the Western Front in 1915, was wounded in the arm and transferred to the 10th Battalion; returning to the Front, he was wounded again at the Battle of the Somme and reported missing. He was taken prisoner and remained a PoW until he was medically repatriated in December 1917. In April 1918 he was discharged from Army service. He died in Chatteris on 9 November 1918."
